Los Angeles Case Study 2.0
Los Angeles California, CA
RHG Architecture + Design is honored to be one of the 40 architectural firms contributing to Case Study 2.0, a visionary program created with Crest Real Estate, that is created to reimagine the future of housing in Los Angeles after devastating wildfires. Our project, KINHOOD, is a holistic model home designed to provide resilience, beauty, and soul-centered living for a changing world.
KINHOOD is crafted to be a nurturing environment for physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Every detail, from the fire-resistant materials to the breeze block patterns and framed views, is part of a larger design ethos: to create a home that offers safety, connection, and healing.
With 3,006 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a sanctuary room, and abundant indoor-outdoor flow, KINHOOD invites calm, joy, and belonging. Its Passive House-informed systems and mindful layout ensure energy efficiency and fire resistance without sacrificing beauty or warmth.
Through our design philosophy, Design is Spiritual™, we offer a new way to live- grounded, regenerative, and resilient- all to be experienced in this KINHOOD property.
